How do I: Use Remote Access

Remote access allows PGY2s and PGY3s to access a full version of EPIC, PACS, the intranet, and the I-drive (if you have access).

To use Remote Access you need to first download the latest version of Citrix Receiver.


To download the Citrix Receiver:

  • Click here for Mac

  • Click here for PC

  • At the end of the installation, skip the option to “Add Account”.

  • Once installed, go to https://secureaccess.montefiore.org/ and login with your Montefiore credentials.

  • If you see a window asking about the Citrix Receiver, click “Already installed”.

  • Doubleclick on whichever application you would like to open. It will download a file (it looks like a lot of garbled letters). Open this file and your application will open.

  • If you are having problems, you can try adding https://secureaccess.montefiore.org/ to your browsers trusted sites (usually under the Security tab).
